Leroy called the meeting to order at 4:15pm..
MATCH GAME
Let's regroup from loosing to the Cobra's and look forward to the Holiday Bowl and having
some fun.
SUPER BOWL
The ICBC Super Bowl is schedule for February 11, 2007 @ AMF Alexandria. The teams for the Super
Bowl have been posted and are under the Match Game Schedule.
NEW BUSINESS
Member’s with 20 years or more – The following members are believed to have 20 or more active
years in the Mavericks Bowling Club: Sharon Johnson, Margo Lowe, Jerry Paige, Roxine Taylor,
Moses Vincent and Curtis Peet (already a Lifetime member). The Mavericks Bowling Club was thought
to have begun in 1973 and joined the ICBC in 1984. Jerry will verify membership tenure via membership
applications. Moses will provide club history. Star will talk with Shirley (an original Maverick member)
for more information. Leroy will look into getting patches for bowling shirts for the 20+ year members.
Benefits for members with 20+ years, were tabled until next meeting.

- Dues - Leroy suggested for next season the dues (of $130) should be broken down into 2 payment deadlines.
The first deadline of $65 to be due by September 1st and the remaining balance by paid by December 1st.
Mike made the motion to change the payment deadlines of $65 due by September 1st and final payment of $65 paid by
December 1st, Margo 2nd the motion. Vote: 10 – For, 1 – Oppose, 0 – Abstain. An amendment will be made to the Bylaws for the 2007-2008 season.
The current Bylaws states $130 due by June, but no later than September.
Charles “Chuck” Thompson paid Leroy the $65 that was due to the club, in order to be released from the Mavericks.

- Atlantic City Trip: The trip will be scheduled for 2007. Moses will chair this committee.

- Cookout: Scheduled for 2007. The committee members are: Marcia, Mike, Steve and Kevin.

- Cabaret: Scheduled for 2008. It was suggested that we move the date from February to another month due the unpredictable weather.

- SOP Committee – Tony (Chair), Nikki, Taz, Tammi and Marcia. Marcia drafted the document and sent it to committee members and
only received comments from Katie, which were incorporated in to the draft. When presented to Moses it was rejected.
Moses wants to meet with the committee members to work on the document
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR
Katie was absent(excused) do to death in her family and there is nothing to report for this
meeting.
Holiday Bowl
Mike will send out a reminder email to individuals who committed to bring items to the Holiday bowl.
The club will purchase canned goods on behalf the all club members.
- The floor was open for any questions and or concerns:
- Match Game Schedule – Jerry questioned the location of our next match game, scheduled
for January 6, 2007 with Energy. ICBC stated that, if two clubs from the same side of the
beltway are bowling one another, then the match game should take place on their side of the
beltway. Leroy will talk to ICBC tournament director.
- Mavericks record is 4-2. Leroy encouraged everyone to continue to bowl well and come
out (when your not scheduled) to cheer on fellow club members. Reminder, please call Katie
and/or Margo if you or someone you know will not be able to attend match game or find a
replacement.
- Leroy has been working hard on the website. The website is about 90% complete.
